We have a Sunday school in Rabboni Centre Ministries that is divided into 4 classes based on age groups. Grade 1 [3-7 years], grade 2 [8-9 years], grade 3 [10-11 years] & grade 4 [12-13 years]. The teachers are anointed to teach all age group.
After the church intercession, the Sunday school hold their intercession in the Sunday school auditorium with all the children. The purpose is to teach the children intercession, participate in praise and worship, the Word, offering and Sunday school rules.
One may ask what are the children being taught there?
Through Bible stories and any mere stories, they are taught:
- The word of God
- Character building
- Fruits of the Holy spirit
- To conduct themselves
- To be doers of the Word of God
- To be compassionate, respectful, resilient, responsible and grateful.
The teachers are led by the Holy spirit to minister, they don’t prepare on what to teach.
In the afternoon there is a Life Skill lesson where the children are given a platform where they discuss any issues or concerns they have about themselves.
Every child is welcomed with love in Sunday school.
It is all about Christ the Messiah.
