Spiritually matured people have teachable hearts and are able to welcome what has no relationship with man but has relationship with God. In them there is no man-ward (earthly, fleshly) worship but God-ward worship. Hence, Apostle Paul refuses to be intimate with them [by knowing them] but chooses intimacy with God.
